d'Analyste financier senior – Financement

, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de capital de Scalia. Vous serez responsable d'analyser, structurer et gérer le financement lié aux acquisitions immobilières ainsi qu'aux refinancements d'actifs existants. Ce rôle nécessite de fortes compétences analytiques, une expertise en modélisation financière et une capacité à collaborer efficacement avec les institutions prêteuses, les équipes juridiques et les parties prenantes internes.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Évaluer, structurer et obtenir le financement pour les acquisitions, les projets de développement et les refinancements d'actifs.
  • Construire, maintenir et optimiser des modèles financiers permettant d'analyser la performance des prêts, les engagements financiers et la faisabilité des projets.
  • Préparer les présentations destinées aux prêteurs, les packages de financement et les propositions de prêts.
  • Analyser les modalités de financement et négocier avec les institutions financières afin d'obtenir des conditions d'emprunt optimales.
  • Soutenir le processus de diligence raisonnable pour les financements, incluant l'examen des évaluations, des rapports environnementaux et de la documentation juridique.
  • Suivre les échéanciers d'échéance de dette, la conformité des prêts et l'exposition au risque de taux d'intérêt.
  • Maintenir à jour une base de données détaillée de l'ensemble des prêts actifs et des obligations financières.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de comptabilité et de trésorerie pour assurer la gestion des échéanciers de financement et des paiements de prêts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Baccalauréat en finance, comptabilité, immobilier ou dans un domaine connexe (CFA ou CPA, un atout).
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en financement immobilier, en services bancaires ou en finance corporative.
  • Excellente compréhension des structures de financement immobilier, de la documentation de prêts et des instruments financiers.
  • Solides compétences en modélisation financière et maîtrise d'Excel.
  • Connaissance des outils de financement tels que les prêts assurés par la SCHL, les prêts conventionnels, le financement transitoire (bridge) et les prêts de construction.
  • Sens aigu du détail et forte capacité d'analyse.
  • Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique, orienté vers le travail d'équipe, avec plusieurs projets simultanés.
  • Excellentes habiletés de communication en français et en anglais (oral et écrit).

Senior Financial Analyst - Financing

Scalia Properties are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Financing to support our continued growth and optimize our financing strategies. As a 
Senior Financial Analyst – Financing

, you will play a critical role in supporting Scalia`s capital strategy. You will be responsible for analyzing, structuring, and managing financing for property acquisitions and refinancing existing assets. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to work closely with lenders, legal teams, and internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and secure financing for property acquisitions, developments, and refinancing.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to assess loan performance, covenants, and project feasibility.
  • Prepare lender presentations, loan packages, and financing proposals.
  • Analyze loan terms and negotiate with financial institutions to obtain optimal borrowing conditions.
  • Support due diligence for financings, including review of appraisals, environmental reports, and legal documentation.
  • Monitor debt maturity schedules, loan compliance, and interest rate risk exposure.
  • Maintain a detailed database of all active loans and financial obligations.
  • Coordinate with accounting and treasury teams to manage funding timelines and loan payments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field (CFA or CPA an asset).
  • +5 years of relevant experience in real estate finance, banking, or corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate financing structures, loan documentation, and financial instruments.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with financing tools such as CMHC-insured loans, conventional mortgages, bridge financing, and construction loans.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple ongoing

projects.
- Strong communication skills in English and French (spoken and written).
