Sr AWS Data Engineer

3 days Hybrid

Experience: 8 to 15 + Years

Major Skills

  • Total experience 10 to 15 years in a hands on role of which minimum years 5 years-experience as a data architect or equivalent role with good understanding of core AWS services, and basic AWS architecture best practices
  • Worked on at least 1 data migration project in architectural capacity
  • Hands on ETL development experience; and experience working with various data pipeline options on Amazon Cloud
    Environment AWS (S3, AWS SFTP, Kinesis, AWS Glue, Athena, Lambda, Airflow etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with related/complementary software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, python, Scala).
  • Proficiency with different datatype structures (Parquet, Avro, Orc)
  • Experience with AWS EMR and Spark processing
  • Proficiency in SQL, understanding relational databases and data warehouse systems like Netezza, AWS Redshift and/or Snowflake and various data migration options
  • Proficiency with data exchange types and protocols (json, xml, soap, rest)
  • Data Management experience (Data architecture, design, ETL,).

Experience supporting OLAP workloads in multi-terabyte environments
