General Description

This position maintains production and distribution of product by pulling materials and packaging from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging of bulk product; weighs and verifies accuracy of Customer and HK Kolmar Canada owned inventory on a regular and consistent basis.

Shift

Monday to Thursday, Afternoons 3:00 pm to 1:00 am ***Must train on days***

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with moving materials / raw materials / packaging.
  • Update systems (MFG pro) and (Deacom)
  • Support other locations as required
  • Accurately and promptly maintains ERP system when moving materials.
  • Completes Customer and internal inventories as requested.
  • Complete cycle counts on a regular basis
  • Promptly feeds production departments with packaging components as required.
  • Promptly feeds compounding departments with raw materials as required.
  • Assists co-workers throughout the plant as required by Supervisor.
  • Maintains all areas in a clean and safe manner in compliance with GMP, SOPs, Safety Standards
  • Follows and supports company procedures and policies established by management.
  • Promptly advises Supervisor of any concerns or issues impacting efficiency

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of Forklift experience

Education

  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience

Skill/Knowledge/Licenses

  • Valid Forklift license (Counter Balance, Reach Truck)
  • BT Runner experience an asset
  • WHMIS education
  • Transportation of dangerous goods (certificate)
  • Basic math competency
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Basic computer skills
