We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, while providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in automotive repair within a professional dealership environment. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge, experience with hand and power tools, and a strong work ethic focused on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic vehicle inspections efficiently and accurately
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Conduct visual inspections to identify potential mechanical issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with additional maintenance or repair services as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Promote additional sales opportunities by informing customers of recommended services and products
Experience
- Dealership experience is highly preferred
- Prior mechanic or automotive repair experience is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during service tasks
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance best practices and safety protocols
This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for automotive care, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
