Job description

SCI White Glove Services is for the transportation of high-value products which require product inspection and on-site installation, we offer white-glove services throughout Canada with clients in the Financial, Technology, Retail and Healthcare sectors.

We are looking for a professional with Class 5 licenses and experience driving 5-Ton Trucks for deliveries local and out of town.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be a Canadian Citizen or have Canadian Permanent Residency with the ability to work a flexible schedule as hours of work will vary depending on volume and some weekend work may be required.

  • Perform unpacking, assembly/disassembly, installation/removal and delivery of high value equipment.
  • Interact directly with customers and provide functional demo of equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly
  • Provide consistent on-time pickup and delivery service performance
  • Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
  • Portray a professional image as a representative of SCI White Glove Services.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service through interactions with customers
  • Work in a safe manner and adhere to safe working procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Perform other general duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications Include:

  • Valid Class 5 driver license – Clean Driver's Abstract Required
  • Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience required
  • Must have experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Clean Drivers' Abstract and able to complete a Criminal Record Background Check
  • Previous experience with handling high end commercial electronics i.e. Printers, photo copiers, bank machines, is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. as needed
  • Comfortable using hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, power drills etc.
  • Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
  • Highly customer focused with the ability to exceed expectations
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Must have strong navigational skills & excellent knowledge of local streets and highway system for the lower mainland Area
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
