Sydney Eora Nation NSW, Canada Tabcorp Full time

Maintaining a healthy balance of excitement and integrity is very important to us, and our Risk & Compliance Team leads the charge. They use their technical knowledge to maximum effect, ensuring Tabcorp positively shapes our industry.

We're looking for experts in risk and compliance management with experience in a highly regulated environment, and a desire to lead by example while influencing real change. You'll join people at the top of their game, while performing at the top of yours – together we'll bring exciting moments to millions of Australians, with a healthy culture of compliance to an industry that welcomes it. Game to join us?

What you'll do

We're looking for a Retail Testing & Monitoring Advisor to join our Retail Testing & Monitoring team within the Risk & Compliance function. In this unique and hands-on role, you'll help safeguard Tabcorp's reputation and integrity through on-the-ground monitoring and compliance reviews across our TAB network.

This is not your typical desk-based role — you'll be out in the field conducting reviews, monitoring compliance, detecting irregularities, and supporting investigations to ensure our retail operations adhere to internal policies, rules and regulatory obligations.

More specifically, you will:

  • Conduct proactive and reactive compliance reviews across the TAB network
  • Identify and report on improper or illegal activities, policy breaches, and control gaps
  • Perform cash reconciliations and review security practices
  • Liaise with stakeholders and support investigations where needed
  • Monitor key network metrics and respond to anomalies
  • Recommend improvements to retail compliance and operational practices
  • Attend incidents to represent Tabcorp's interests on site
  • Prepare clear and professional reports and follow through on issues identified

What you'll bring

You're a proactive, highly ethical professional with a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of accountability. You're comfortable working autonomously and travelling regularly to venues. You bring sound judgement, confidence in handling sensitive situations, and a genuine commitment to ensuring integrity in retail operations.

You'll also bring:

  • Proven experience in cash handling and reconciliation, ideally in a regulated environment (retail, hospitality, financial services or similar)
  • Experience in TAB would be advantageous but is not essential
  • High level of integrity and independence when conducting reviews
  • Ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confrontational situations with professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation abilities
  • A current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel regularly and work on a rotating roster (including weekends where required)

What you'll get

  • Company car, mobile phone and iPad provided so you can do your job (reasonable personal use allowed)
  • Diverse leave options: bonus leave of 5 days annually, cultural, volunteer, and 18-weeks parental leave.
  • Access to corporate discounts and our leading health and wellbeing app.
  • Monthly employee social activities, competitions, awards and free tickets to events.
