Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and patient satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and software. The Associate Dentist will play a vital part in maintaining the practice's reputation for excellence in oral health care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general and specialized dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, and preventive care.
  • Utilize dental CAD/CAM technology to design and create restorations when applicable.
  • Able to Perform a plethora of different treatments including, but not limited to crowns, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
  • Manage patient treatment plans, ensuring clear communication of procedures and post-treatment instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Paradigm, dental practice management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the dental office.
  • Provide care tailored to pediatric patients when necessary, demonstrating sensitivity and patience.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license and current DEA registration if applicable.
  • Experience with dental office management software specifically Paradigm
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. This position offers an engaging environment where professional growth is encouraged, and quality patient care is prioritized.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.

Salary and pay structure will be discussed with candidates at the interview stage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
