Role Overview

As a Safety & RAMS Engineer, you will support project delivery and contribute to the development of internal proprietary tools and templates to standardize how we conduct safety, security and reliability activities with our customers. You will engage in technical analyses, support cross-disciplinary teams, and gain hands-on experience in safety, reliability, availability, maintainability, security and systems engineering.

This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or early career engineer to grow technical skills, learn industry-recognized methodologies, and help shape internal safety engineering frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in performing Safety & RAMS analyses, including but not limited to:

  • Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA)
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • Hazard Analyses (HARA, FHA, PHA, etc.)
  • Reliability predictions and availability assessments

Support the development and maintenance of hazard logs, risk registers, and safety documentation across project lifecycles.

Help develop and refine internal proprietary tools, templates, and process guidelines for safety, RAMS, and risk management activities.

Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety processes and toolsets.

Who You Are

We're seeking a candidate with strong analytical ability, a solid engineering foundation, and knowledge about Systems Engineering, Systems Safety and Security, including (but not limited to): V-Model applied to Automotive Industry aeronautics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both project work and building engineering tools.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Aerospace, Robotics, or related field).

Familiar with Systems engineering frameworks: ISO 26262, ARP 4754B, ARP 4761A safety engineering, reliability engineering and safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA or Hazard Analyses.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred (but not required)

Experience or coursework related to safety-critical systems in automotive, aeronautics, robotics, railway, or energy sectors.

Exposure to documentation tools such as MS Office

Engineering tools: MATLAB, DOORS.

Safety specific tools: Isograph.
