Schedule

  • Shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Welding aluminum and steel on our rolling stock equipment

  • Troubleshooting

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance on equipment

  • Electrical systems maintenance

  • Dismounting and reassembling tires and brake systems

  • Installing, removing, and/or reinstalling differentials

  • Using a computer to diagnose various mechanical issues

  • Performing preventive maintenance on Sanimax's specialized vehicle fleet

Requirements

  • Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (DEP)

  • PEP card (asset)

  • Class 1 driver's license (asset)

  • Welding skills in both steel and aluminum

  • Knowledge of electrical systems

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Strong interest and skills in problem-solving and troubleshooting

  • Resourceful, energetic, autonomous, and able to meet deadlines

  • Excellent physical condition
