Busy, long serving private liquor store is looking to fill a temporary part - time Clerk position starting in the new year with the possibility for an expanded role in the summer. The successful applicant will have an energetic, outgoing and friendly personality with customer service and cash handling experience. Wine, beer and spirit knowledge or previous liquor store experience is a huge asset.

To succeed at this job you must be able to/have:

· Lift at least 50 pounds;

· Serving-it-right Certificate, or ability to get it;

· Self-motivating personality;

· Great inter-personal skills/Customer service skills;

· Interest in liquor including wine, beer or spirits;

· Must be able to work evenings and weekends;

· Must be comfortable handling cash;

· Must be bondable.

This position will be a temporary part- time job for between 12 and 24 hours a week and will offer a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening shifts. This job will require weekend, afternoon and evening availability and will see the successful candidate being on the cash register, on the sales floor helping customers, receiving inventory and stocking shelves. This job is ideal for students looking to pick up extra money while they continue their studies or someone looking to supplement their income with a second job.
