Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
  • Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the café area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
  • Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to all food service guidelines.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while managing time effectively during busy periods.

Experience

  • Previous barista experience or background in the coffee industry is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and safety standards.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
