Metallurgy Laboratory Assistant

As a metallurgy lab assistant, you will be at the heart of quality control: testing, chemical analysis, inspections... every test you perform will play a key role in the reliability of our products.

In This Position, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Perform mechanical tests on different types of cast iron and sand: (LOI, tensile strength, particle size, permeability, impact test (Charpy) and hardness)
• Perform chemical analyses of cast iron using spectrography
• Analyze cast iron: cut samples, polish, perform chemical attacks, and analyze with a microscope
• Document analysis results according to established procedures
• Perform all other tasks to support the team
