Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician, located in Halifax, NS. The selected candidate will undertake a variety of tasks, including electrical system installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting electrical issues. They will ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, collaborate with team members, and assist in providing solutions for any technical challenges that arise in energy systems or other electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electricity, electrical work, and knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Expertise in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles is a plus.
- Certification as a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician is required.
- Commitment to maintaining safety protocols and ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
