Pension Administrator

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Pension Administration - Customer Service team at Mercer. This role will be based in Montreal or Quebec City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will work as part of a team in customer service within Mercer's Pension Administration and provide high-quality administration services to a client portfolio, including exceptional and timely customer service in all your client interactions.

We will count on you to:
- Respond to participant and administrator inquiries by phone and email;
- Receive, analyze, and process documents received for benefit payments;
- Process payment requests by calculating amounts payable with interest up to the payment date;
- Update the client database (requesting and validating data, using various systems and databases, processing data and accumulating benefits and other relevant information, reconciling participation data, etc.);
- Participate in the production of annual participant statements;
- Understand plan provisions and applicable laws;
- Participate in the development of various new procedures;
- Assist in producing certain benefit calculations.
What you need to have:
- College diploma (DEC) in administration or relevant work experience;
- Bilingualism in both English and French
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word);
- Demonstrate the following skills: excellent analytical and organizational abilities, thoroughness, attention to detail, ability to work in a team, autonomy, and initiative.
