Job Description: Driver
Location: Kearl Lake (14 days on / 14 days off)
Accommodation: Camp position
Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour, 11.5-hour shifts
Job Type: Seasonal
Physical Requirements: This position is physically demanding.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver fuel to drilling equipment, heavy equipment, heaters, and site infrastructure.
- Assist Swamper with fuel handling, including long hose pulls.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle systems are functional.
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, including greasing and checking fluids.
- Maintain Cardlock fuel facilities and work areas, keeping them clean and safe.
- Follow safety protocols during deliveries and equipment handling.
- Accurately report fuel deliveries and usage.
Requirements:
- License: Valid Class 3 with Air Brakes endorsement, Driver's Abstract.
- Certifications: CSO/CSTS, Emergency First Aid, H2S Awareness, AGT (Gas Detection), Fit Test Card (N95 & 3M 6000 Series Half Mask).
- Must pass an alcohol/drug test and provide a Fit for Duty doctor's note.
Additional Information:
- Winter Season: Winter (October–March)
- Travel: Charter flights from Edmonton/Calgary; bus service for Fort McMurray residents.
- You will be directed to take additional online courses prior to site arrival.
*Potential for continuation between seasons based on performance and project demand.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $38.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
