Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with experience in building systems design. The ideal candidate will work on a wide range of projects including Residential, commercial buildings, offices, schools, and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare electrical drawings for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems.
  • Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and coordination with other building systems.
  • Prepare specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Review shop drawings and conduct site inspections.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (CEC, NBC, local building standards).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with APEGA.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in building electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
