Position Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team. The Labourer will to support our operations through daily cleaning and basic upkeep of company trucks and equipment. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a labour environment and does not require prior industrial or heavy equipment experience. While occasional heavier tasks may arise, the core focus remains on truck cleaning, yard upkeep, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

 The primary focus of this role is cleaning trucks and maintaining a safe, organized yard, with some light labour duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean company trucks and vehicles daily using pressure washers, hoses, and basic cleaning tools.
  • Safely operate vacuum equipment and other assigned cleaning or yard equipment.
  • Assist with basic yard maintenance, including sweeping, organizing tools, and keeping work areas clean and safe.
  • Perform light labour tasks as required, with occasional heavier duties depending on operational needs.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures while working around vehicles and equipment.
  • Report any visible damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to a supervisor.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Provide professional, respectful, and reliable service when interacting with coworkers and customers.
  • Support the team with other general labour duties as assigned.

 Qualifications & Specifications 

  • Valid G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven ability to perform heavy physical labour, including lifting, shovelling, and manual handling.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather environments.
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and willingness to follow all safety regulations.
  • Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs or more).
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time.
  • Willingness to work in industrial and outdoor environments.
  • Flexible to work irregular hours or weekends as needed, depending on project requirements.
  • Must be in good physical health and conditions to safely perform assigned duties.
  • Experience working in an industrial and outdoor environment is considered an asset but not required.
