Senior Mortgage Underwriter (In-House)

Full-Time | In-Office | Midtown Toronto

About This Role:

is hiring a Senior Mortgage Underwriter with 5+ years of residential underwriting experience to join our in-house team. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Midtown Toronto, supporting top-producing brokers within our established operation.

You'll work closely with our brokers and lenders to structure and manage files from funding applications, ensuring compliance, speed, and service at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and structure complex residential mortgage deals as well as fulfill them.
  • Support a high-volume broker with detailed file review and lender alignment
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and lender policies
  • Communicate with lenders, clients, and agents to move files forward efficiently

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience (broker channel preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of lender policies, mortgage structuring, and documentation standards
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple high-volume files
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be available to work on-site in Midtown Toronto full-time, Monday to Friday
