As the Software Engineering Manager, you will leverage your technical and leadership expertise to develop innovative software solutions. You will oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering environment. As a Software Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Team Leadership: Ensure your team of engineers is productive, motivated, continuously learning, and engaged in meaningful work.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and direct projects, creating detailed plans to achieve technical and product goals efficiently.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyze technology trends, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of new projects.
  • Talent Acquisition: Recruit top-tier software engineers, building a team of exceptional talent.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers, supporting their career growth and development.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead a multi-disciplinary team working on high-impact, full-stack projects, promoting experimentation and the safe release of new features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, legal, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and success across all projects.
  • Hands-On Coding: Stay connected to the codebase by reviewing code and contributing directly to the team's efforts.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive Experience: 8+ years in software development, with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years in software testing and launching products, with at least 3 years in software design and architecture.
  • Technical Expertise: 5+ years working with Javascript (NodeJS, React, React Native), Postgres, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Leadership Skills: 3+ years in a technical leadership role, with experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Crypto Enthusiast: Experience and a strong interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.
