Job Title – Junior Air Systems Integrator

Location – Mirabel – hybrid 3 days a week in the office

Capgemini Engineering are looking for a junior, dynamic individual who is looking to expand their experience in Aerospace engineering We are currently seeking an individual interested in a role involving the integration of aircraft systems (namely air systems) as well as some coordination and cross-functional communication with suppliers and stakeholders.

About the job you're considering

  • Review component qualification documentation (Spec, ATP, QTP, QSR, QTR, etc)
  • Manage tasks directly with supplier and internal client stakeholders.
  • Run root cause and safety analysis on in service issues.
  • Prepare and define Technical Requirement Documents and Engineering Technical Assessments
  • Evaluate vendor technical proposals and internal Program Change Requests
  • Review and approve vendor requirement specifications, design/ substantiation documentation.
  • Support aircraft test programs
  • Prepare technical reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirements.
  • Support in service aircraft by creating and reviewing engineering modification packages based on customer or regulatory change requests. Support Service Bulletin development. Support in service aircraft fleet investigation by addressing in Service Difficulty Reports.

Your skills and experience

  • You hold a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering.
  • You have experience working to integrate Air system development (1-3 years)
  • Knowledgeable with civil airworthiness FAR Part 25 regulations relating to air systems and have a working understanding of industry advisory material for applicable TCCA, EASA, and FAA certification requirements.
  • Familiar with Problem Reports (to document Root Cause, Immediate Failure Effect, Corrective Actions, Evidence)
  • Familiar with Technical content of Service Bulletins
  • Independent to manage tasks directly with supplier and client stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have the capacity to reliably meet deadlines while paying close attention to details.
  • You have the capacity to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, in English.

  • Mener des analyses de causes fondamentales et de sécurité sur les problèmes en service.
  • Préparer et définir les documents de spécifications techniques et les évaluations techniques d'ingénierie.
  • Évaluer les propositions techniques des fournisseurs et les demandes de modification internes du programme.
  • Examiner et approuver les spécifications des exigences des fournisseurs, ainsi que la documentation de conception et de justification.
  • Soutenir les programmes d'essais en vol.
  • Rédiger des rapports techniques démontrant la conformité aux exigences de certification applicables.
  • Soutenir les aéronefs en service en créant et en examinant les dossiers de modification d'ingénierie selon les demandes des clients ou des autorités réglementaires. Participer au développement des bulletins de service. Appuyer les enquêtes sur la flotte en service en répondant aux rapports de difficultés en service.

Vos compétences et votre expérience

  • Vous détenez un diplôme en ingénierie aérospatiale ou mécanique.
  • Vous avez de l'expérience dans le développement et l'intégration des systèmes d'air (1 à 3 ans).
  • Vous connaissez les réglementations de navigabilité civile FAR Part 25 relatives aux systèmes d'air et comprenez les documents d'orientation de l'industrie pour les exigences de certification de Transports Canada (TCCA), EASA et FAA.
  • Vous êtes familier avec les rapports de problèmes (documenter la cause fondamentale, les effets immédiats, les actions correctives, les preuves).
  • Vous connaissez le contenu technique des bulletins de service.
  • Vous êtes autonome dans la gestion des tâches avec les fournisseurs et les parties prenantes internes.
  • Vous avez des compétences intermédiaires à avancées dans la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint).
  • Vous possédez d'excellentes compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes.
  • Vous êtes capable de respecter les délais de manière fiable tout en portant une attention particulière aux détails.
  • Vous êtes capable d'exprimer vos idées clairement et de manière concise, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, en anglais.
