Are you a food & beverage leader who's passionate about great service and building strong teams? We're hiring a Front of House supervisor to help lead daily operations at one of Cypress Mountain's multiple quick service locations such as the Gold Medal Cafe, Cantina and Cypress Creek Grill. In this role, you'll support high service standards, ensure food safety, and help create an elevated dining experience for our guests. Ideal candidates have experience in high-volume service—preferably in a resort setting—and are ready to work a mix of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):

  • Supervise and support the front-of-house team to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Train, mentor, and onboard new team members.
  • Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with standards.
  • Assist in resolving operational challenges in collaboration with the F&B team.
  • Manage POS functions, including voids, discounts, and error corrections.
  • Complete end-of-day paperwork and reporting.
  • Administrative duties as required.
  • Provide operational support across roles as needed, including assuming a variety of roles in multiple F&B outlets.
  • Assign break, side duties, and cleaning tasks to all staff.
  • Open and close set up each food outlet to ensure they are operationally ready for the day and following day of service.
  • Assist in the kitchen with food preparation and be comfortable to utilize kitchen equipment to prepare the food on a as needed basis for support the operational needs of each outlet.
  • Assist with inventory management and notify management of product needs.
  • Respond to and resolve guest requests, issues and complaints and guest feedback and escalate to Management when necessary.
  • Manage workforce resources as required to suit the requirements of the shifts and the four F&B outlets
  • Ensure compliance with uniform, conduct, and Serve It Right policies.
  • Oversee completion of mandatory training (Schoox) and follow up on safety program requirements.

  • Physically fit, with ability to lift heavy up to 50lbs.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, weekends and some holidays.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in high volume, fast pasted quick service environment in a supervisory role.
  • High School or equivalent.
  • Experience in high volume restaurant operations management.
  • Knowledge of restaurant equipment and tools an asset.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Legally able to work in Canada.
  • Serve It Right certification.
  • Food Safe Level 1 required, level 2 an asset.
  • Valid BC Driver's License
  • Have a dependable/insured vehicle required to get to/from work
