Position: Hotel Room Attendant

Brighter Staffing Agency is currently seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at a reputable hotel in Vernon, BC. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms, creating a positive and memorable experience for them.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all amenities are in working order and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Follow hotel policies and procedures for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude towards guests and coworkers
- Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report any lost and found items to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Attend to special guest requests and accommodate their needs to the best of your ability

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
