Job Purpose
PURPOSE:

Software Engineering Project Manager (SW EPM) role is to manage software engineering activities within Light Vehicle Electrification business unit to deliver quality embedded software system on time and within cost targets. Successful candidate has demonstratable ability to create software engineering project management plan, schedules, resource utilization and KPIs to control, monitor and report the software engineering project activities for small and large size projects with global OEMs in electrified propulsion environments.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible to plan SW engineering activities by collaboratively working with SW engineers assigned to a project and monitoring the execution of SW plan to develop embedded software system.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the system engineering team for requirements analysis, customer change request analysis and effort estimates. Supporting RFQ activities.
  • Responsible to coordinate with engineering management team in securing resources for successfully producing the work products for a project, to track and manage resource allocations, estimations, and actuals for projects.
  • Responsible to estimate the need of engineering tools, HILs, Dynos and engineering services.
  • Responsible for ASPICE MAN.3, MAN.5, SUP.9, and SUP.10. Work closely with quality team to close out any non-conformances related to SUP.1, IATF and related standards.
  • Responsible for managing the required Functional Safety and Cybersecurity activities within the project milestones.
  • Coordinates Software with Hardware development activities and supports SW/HW integration
  • Lead or support customer technical meetings to demonstrate software engineering schedules, software engineering process compliance and technical design as required.
  • Ensure quality of software project engineering releases within the project.
  • Support program management as required.
  • Report software project progress to internal/external stakeholders as required.

Education And Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical software project management in automotive environment; preferably in propulsion and/or electrification systems.
  • Certification(s) in PMP, Agile/SAFe, ASPICE, ISO26262 and/or ISO21434 is a plus.
  • Proven experience to manage global software team for complex technical solutions.
  • Experience with projects complying to Functional Safety, ASPICE, and Cybersecurity Standard.
  • Working experience of project management tools like Jira, PlanView, or similar.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR and design tools related to software product development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Planifier les activités d'ingénierie logicielle en collaboration avec les ingénieurs logiciels affectés à un projet et suivre l'exécution du plan logiciel pour le développement du système logiciel embarqué.

  • Coordonner avec l'équipe d'ingénierie système l'analyse des besoins, l'analyse des demandes de modification client et l'estimation des efforts. Soutenir les activités d'appel d'offres.
  • Coordonner avec l'équipe de direction de l'ingénierie pour garantir les ressources nécessaires à la production des produits d'un projet, et suivre et gérer les allocations de ressources, les estimations et les résultats réels des projets.
  • Estimer les besoins en outils d'ingénierie, HIL, dynamomètres et services d'ingénierie.
  • Responsable des normes ASPICE MAN.3, MAN.5, SUP.9 et SUP.10. Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe qualité pour corriger toute non-conformité liée aux normes SUP.1, IATF et autres normes associées.
  • Responsable de la gestion des activités de sécurité fonctionnelle et de cybersécurité requises dans le cadre des jalons du projet.
  • Coordonner les activités de développement logiciel et matériel et soutenir l'intégration logicielle/matérielle.
  • Animer ou soutenir les réunions techniques clients afin de démontrer les plannings d'ingénierie logicielle, la conformité des processus d'ingénierie logicielle et la conception technique, selon les besoins.
  • Garantir la qualité des versions d'ingénierie logicielle du projet.
  • Soutenir la gestion du programme, selon les besoins.
  • Rendre compte de l'avancement du projet logiciel aux parties prenantes internes et externes, selon les besoins.

Formation Et Qualifications

  • Licence minimum en génie informatique/électrique ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en gestion de projets logiciels techniques dans le secteur automobile, de préférence dans les systèmes de propulsion et/ou d'électrification.
  • Certifications PMP, Agile/SAFe, ASPICE, ISO26262 et/ou ISO21434, un atout.
  • Expérience avérée de la gestion d'équipes logicielles internationales pour des solutions techniques complexes.
  • Expérience de projets conformes aux normes de sécurité fonctionnelle, ASPICE et de cybersécurité.
  • Expérience pratique d'outils de gestion de projet tels que Jira, PlanView ou similaires.
  • Connaissance d'AUTOSAR et des outils de conception liés au développement de produits logiciels.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, et capacité à établir des relations avec tous les services et tous les niveaux de l'organisation. COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES
