Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor will provide leadership, support, and clinical oversight to ensure our clients receive safe, effective, and person-centered care. This position plays a key role in supervising staff, maintaining care standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You'll work closely with management and front-line staff to promote our mission of Compassion, Excellence, and Commitment in every aspect of care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Health Care Aides, Nurses, and support staff
- Conduct client assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all clinical standards, safety protocols, and provincial regulations
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and mentorship
- Facilitate staff orientation, education, and ongoing professional development
- Respond to client or family concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
Requirements
Must hold a current registration number with a recognized regulatory body
Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in a community or residential care setting
Experience in staff supervision or a leadership role preferred
Strong understanding of health care standards, ethics, and best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Compassionate, professional, and client-focused
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are assets
