The Support Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our essential software applications, working closely under the guidance of their Business Systems Analyst (BSA). As the primary point of contact for end-users, the support promptly addresses issues, conducts workflow analyses, and investigates solutions, escalating to the Systems Analyst and Business Systems Analyst as needed. With experience, the support analyst may take on lead responsibilities for smaller projects and represent their application in larger, more complex initiatives as directed by the BSA or team lead. Their expertise and dedication contribute significantly to the reliability and effectiveness of our healthcare systems.
This role will support our Cerner Millennium Clinical Documentation solutions including iViews, Powerforms, Flowsheets, Dynamic Documentation, Problems & Diagnoses, and Smart Templates. The Support Analyst is responsible for the efficient design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of the less complex aspects of clinical systems/programs to satisfy clinical user and systems requirements, escalating to the Business Systems Analyst and Systems Analyst as required.
What we offer:
Rate of Pay: $36.04 per hour to $45.05 per hour
Status: Regular Full-Time
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications- Two-year college certificate or diploma in Computer Science or health related field
- University degree preferred
- Applicable registration or licensing, where regulatory body exists
- Minimum 1 year of recent and related work experience
- Minimum 3 years of recent and related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of CCL/SQL coding preferred
- Experience with Discern Expert and EKM Rules applications preferred Understanding of SmartZone functionality preferred Experience with CarePathways functionality preferred
- Experience with established applicable clinical processes, nomenclature and hospital environment
- Advanced analysis, testing and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with formal change management processes
- Recent and relevant experience with Cerner Millennium or other clinical applications as applicable to the role an asset
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
- Information technology security - ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
