Our interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and massage therapists works together with one clear mission: to keep residents healthy, active, and comfortable in their own homes.

About The Role

We are seeking bilingual Nurse Practitioners licensed in Quebec to provide virtual primary and urgent care to seniors living in retirement residences. This role offers scheduling flexibility whether you're looking for recurring weekly shifts, weekday or weekend coverage, or on-call support.

You'll be part of a growing virtual clinical hub that ensures residents, families, and home staff always have trusted access to timely care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual primary and urgent care coverage across Perennial's network of retirement residences.
  • Conduct remote assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for seniors.
  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Manage urgent concerns from residents, families, and care staff during weekends.
  • Collaborate virtually with physicians, other NPs, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Support clinical quality and best practices across our multi-province network.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with OIIQ as a Nurse Practitioner (IPSPL preferred — primary care stream).
  • Experience: 1–2+ years NP practice experience preferred — primary/urgent care, geriatrics, chronic disease management, or virtual care.
  • Mandatory bilingual proficiency (French + English) to support resident, family, and care team needs across Quebec.
  • Experience with EMRs and digital care tools (training provided).
  • Flexible — options for recurring shifts, full-time virtual coverage, or on-call support.
