Summary

'Home Manager' is a vital leadership role at Angel's Retirement Home, overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional elder care. Located in Canada, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by leading a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Collaborating with the Director of Care to promote and ensure standards of practice are achieved and evaluated
  • Ensuring resident care needs are assessed
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Oversee and manage wellness programs for residents, focusing on physical, mental, and social well-being.
  • Provide onboarding training for new staff
  • Provide PSW student shadowing programs.
  • Manage interactions and compliance with regulatory bodies such as the Public Health and RHRA
  • Collaborate with community agencies such as the Police and Emergency Services Departments.
  • Ensure food safety, proper inventory management, and dietary compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and visitors to ensure high-quality resident care.
  • Maintain documentation and reports for inspections and audits.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in caregiving and wellness program management.
  • Proven ability to manage operations, staff, and student shadowing programs.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Canadian public health standards, RHRA regulations, and wellness program administration.
  • Experience liaising with doctors, regulatory authorities, and families is an asset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required.

Pay: $38.00-$44.00 per hour
