Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading items, maintaining the delivery vehicle, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

  • Safely operate a box truck or vans for deliveries
  • Load and unload goods efficiently using manual handling techniques
  • Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles, particularly box trucks
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and manual labor tasks
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; manual transmission experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
