Starting Pay: $17/hour
(Salary will be reviewed and updated after a 3-month probation period for successful candidates on a long-term contract)
What You'll Do:
- Greet and seat guests with a smile, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders and coordinate efficiently with the kitchen and barista team.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure every order is correct.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to requests or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized café and dining area at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with lab/café prep and inventory as needed (for Barista role).
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality role.
- Must provide references from previous employment.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable with excellent communication skills.
- Strong multitasking ability to handle busy periods calmly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Extra Assets:
- Coffee preparation or café experience (for Barista).
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
