Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours, ensuring timely service
- Adhere to all restaurant policies, including serving protocols and food handling regulations
- Unloading inventory and organizing stock
Experience
- 1-3+ years culinary experience (If you have potential and less experience, we still want to meet you)
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced setting is a plus
- Basic understanding of the food industry operations and customer service expectations
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler
