Food Truck Driver

As the Food Truck Driver/Operator, you'll be responsible for safely driving and operating our food truck to scheduled events, setting up and assisting the kitchen team, and maintaining compliance with Ontario's commercial vehicle standards.
This role combines driving, light mechanical awareness, and hands-on operational support — perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road and part of a fun, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate the food truck to and from events and designated service locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (circle checks) to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain compliance with Ontario CVOR regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist with setup, teardown, and light on-site duties (such as food prep, stock handling, and customer service).
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and maintained according to schedule.
- Follow health, safety, and food-handling guidelines.
- Communicate with management regarding route planning, maintenance issues, or scheduling.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence (DZ licence an asset, not required).
- Clean driver's abstract and strong safety record.
- Must complete or be willing to complete a CVOR Awareness Course (certificate required by insurance).
- Physically able to lift 30–40 lbs and assist with setup and equipment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance — you're representing our brand on the road and at events
- Experience driving larger vehicles (cube vans, box trucks, etc.) is an asset.
- Prior experience in food service or event operations is an asset, but not required.
