Our Team Members provide caring services to residents and clients throughout Saskatchewan in our Seniors Independent Living Communities, Intermediate Care Homes, Long-Term Care, Group Homes for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, and programs like the Seniors Day Program and the Luther Seniors Centre.

The Position:

Assists with the (non-cooking) preparation and distribution of food and beverages. Serves residents in the dining room and provides tray service to resident's rooms. Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas.

Wage: This position starts at $19.14 per hour. Additional wages paid for working evenings and weekends

Hours of Work: 6:30 am and 7:30 pm.

Job Duties

  • Assembles meals including breakfast, dinner, supper and nourishments.
  • Assists preparation of meals and nourishments.
  • Assists preparation of special lunches and nourishments (e.g., diabetic, low calorie, gluten free, allergies and intolerances).
  • Portions food items and beverages (e.g., desserts, hot and cold cereal).
  • Assembles trays.
  • Serves breakfast, dinner, supper, and nourishments.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas/surfaces, equipment and floors.
  • Pre-cleans/washes dishes, pots and pans.
  • Collects garbage and disposes of wastes and recycling.
  • Clears and sanitizes tables and high touch surfaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 10
  • Basic computer skills
  • God Communication skills
  • Food Safe certificate
  • WHMIS 2015 certificate
