Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated hands on and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our Retirement Home and ensure its efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement within the Retirement environment. The successful will be required to keep maintenance logs, and prioritize scheduled maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Environmental team daily operations
  • Manage maintenance and housekeeping and prioritize work orders
  • Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the retirement home
  • Conduct regular inspections of the home to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance strategies
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to support home
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation

Experience

  • Proven management experience in a Retirement Home management
  • Proficiency in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and high voltage application is required
  • Familiarity with project management principles related to maintenance operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Experience using tools
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
