Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oxbow, SK, for an Aftersales Technician. The Aftersales Technician will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and support services for Avro GSE's ground support equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, documenting work completed, and assisting customers with inquiries. Managing of parts warehouse and shipping/receiving as needed. The Aftersales Technician will also maintain an updated knowledge of equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for service processes.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively address inquiries and provide support.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the aviation or ground support equipment industry is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and certifications specific to equipment maintenance are desirable.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and sustainability-focused equipment.
