Dilawri is currently looking to fill a position of a Tower
Operator.    

The Service Dispatcher/Tower Operator
is responsible for the maximization of workshop utilization by assigning evenly
and in a fair manner of workflow to technicians based on their skill level and
capability. The dispatcher is responsible for any and all sublet vendors doing
business with the service department. It is the explicit duty of the dispatcher
to report to management any actions or infractions the may hindered the
performance, integrity, or safety of the shop and its employees.

Essential Duties:

  • Prioritize and dispatch work
    for the shop
  • Maintain shop capacity,
    efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor the availability of
    technicians and inform the Shop Foremen, Service Advisors, and Managers on
    absences or delays
  • Use internal repair orders
    and pre-delivery inspections/checks to help reach production goals and
    complete internal work in a timely manner
  • Identify and communicate
    opportunities to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency to Service
    Management
  • Answer incoming calls
    regarding service inquiries and accurately schedule appointments, when
    necessary
