Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team, providing exceptional food service for a variety of events and occasions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and experience in food handling and preparation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount. Previous restaurant, hotel, or food industry experience is highly valued, along with a strong commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of menu items according to event specifications and quality standards
  • Set up catering stations, buffet tables, and serving areas with appropriate utensils, linens, and decorations
  • Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Serve guests professionally, addressing their needs courteously and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas during and after events
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of catering services
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing when required
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

  • Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards
  • Excellent guest service and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy events
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends or evenings as needed
  • Experience with food presentation and serving techniques is a plus
  • Knowledge of hotel or event catering operations is advantageous
