As a Software Engineer III on the Engagement Data team, you will be a key contributor to the team that processes and maps customer engagements to CRM entities in real-time, supporting some of the largest enterprises on the planet with multinational workforces. If you like working on tough problems, whether that's building streaming data systems that process millions of engagements per day using Kafka or how to make sense of over a billion pieces of potentially correlated engagement data, ZoomInfo could be the right place for you

What you will do:

• Build high-volume streaming data processing services using Kafka to handle millions of engagement data points per day
• Design and implement real-time engagement to CRM entity mapping systems
• Develop robust Java-based microservices that integrate tightly with data storage solutions
• Work with cutting-edge streaming and cloud technologies at scale
• Solve interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team of engineers
• Help define and promote software engineering best practices, including design, documentation, code reviews, monitoring, observability etc.
• Develop new skills as you push your knowledge, and our technology, to new levels
• Mentor/Train senior and junior engineers on the team
• Collaborate on data architecture decisions and performance optimization

What you bring:

• 4+ years of industry experience, B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java development
• 2+ years of experience with streaming data platforms (Kafka preferred)
• 2+ years of experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
• 4+ years of cloud experience (GCP/AWS) - a must
• Experience architecting & building large scale data processing services that integrate with CRM systems
• Experience with microservices architecture (Spring Boot preferred) deployed to the cloud
• Knowledge of data storage solutions and database technologies
• Experience with real-time data processing and event-driven architectures
• Strong architectural design skills while remaining hands-on
• Passion for developing excellent software and continuous improvement
• Strong desire to seek pragmatic, innovative solutions to complex business and technical problems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams

• Experience with Apache Kafka ecosystem (Kafka Streams, Connect, etc.)
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools for streaming systems
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
• Previous experience in B2B data or sales intelligence domains
