The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead – In this pivotal leadership role, you'll shape the future of WSP's laboratory operations across Ontario. From optimizing logistics and warehouse systems to driving technical excellence and standardization, you'll be at the forefront of building a Centre of Excellence that supports a unified national laboratory network. This is your opportunity to lead transformative change and make a lasting impact on how we deliver quality and innovation in every test and result.

Your Impact

  • Lead the transformation of Ontario's laboratory operations by implementing a new Quality Management System (QMS) that strengthens compliance and drives continuous improvement.
  • Champion the development of a Laboratory Centre of Excellence, introducing digital innovation, standardizing testing protocols, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Oversee warehouse, logistics, and procurement strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate with lab managers and supervisors to ensure strategic alignment and technical excellence across all Ontario laboratories.
  • Ensure compliance with CCIL, ISO 9001, and AASHTO standards while fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in laboratory operations, logistics, and procurement.
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering or Technology; P.Eng. or Certified Technologist designation preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of laboratory testing standards and regulatory frameworks including CCIL, ISO, and AASHTO.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations with minimal oversight.
    Track record of implementing process improvements and digital transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and performance.
