PSW - Saturday Evenings

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) for Saturday evening shifts. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to a senior in a home care setting.

Duties:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, toileting and mobility (assisting with a walker)
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  
  -Encourage and assist client to pursue personal dreams and goals
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with other specialized needs as required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or home care settings
• Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent
• Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
  
  -Some lifting required
