Role Overview
The
NetSuite Financial Functional Consultant
will lead functional delivery across NetSuite ERP implementation and support projects. This role requires strong client-facing communication, deep functional expertise in core finance processes, and experience working with global customers, preferably U.S.-based clients.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, configure NetSuite modules, and ensure successful end-to-end implementations. Your expertise will help customers streamline operations and maximize the value of their NetSuite investment.
Location (Onsite): Vancouver, BC, Canada
What You'll Do
- Lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of NetSuite ERP
- Work directly with clients to gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver scalable solutions
- Provide expertise across core finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Reporting
- Collaborate on solutions involving Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), Procurement and AP, Inventory, and Supply Chain (preferred but not mandatory)
- Conduct gap analysis, prepare process documentation, and drive workflow improvements
- Manage full implementation cycles, including system testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), training, go-live, and post-go-live support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage expectations through clear, consistent communication
- Partner with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and advanced configurations
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing support to ensure system stability
- Prepare detailed documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, configuration documents, and test scripts
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best-practice frameworks
What We Expect on Day One
- 3–5 years of hands-on NetSuite Financial Functional experience
- Strong expertise in core finance modules (required)
- Working knowledge of BRM, Procurement, Inventory, and SCM modules (preferred)
- Experience with full-cycle NetSuite implementations and production support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client-facing environments
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients (preferred)
- Strong understanding of business processes across finance, procurement, and supply chain
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead discussions with business stakeholders
- Bachelors or Master or MBA in Accounting or Finance is preferred
We'd Be Excited If You Also Have
- Accounting or CPA Level Certification
- NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, or equivalent)
- Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments
- Functional knowledge of SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics, or SuiteScript
- Prior consulting experience in fast-paced environments

Compensation
Salary range (Washington and California residents only):
$120,000 – $150,000 per year
Compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, and certifications.
