Pay

  • $20-30 an hour (commensurate with experience and role).

Schedule

  • Seasonal work from November 15th to April 15th.
  • Shift hours and days vary from snowfalls: minimum 8 hour shifts, opportunity to work 12+ hour shifts.
  • Overnight, early morning, weekends, and on-call shifts during snow events.
  • 48 hour notice prior to shift assignment.
  • Opportunity for full-time work after April 15th based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive crew members to assigned residential and commercial properties in an efficient, timely, and safe manner.
  • Maintain reliable communication with team leads/dispatchers for site updates.
  • Follow site maps and instructions provided by the operations lead or site supervisor.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Clear snow from walkways, driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots using shovels, snow blowers, and other equipment..
  • Apply salt and ice-melt materials as required to prevent slippery conditions.
  • Safely operate plows, salter, vehicles, and related equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work hours and site completion using your phone.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Work efficiently and safely in cold and snowy conditions.
  • Adhere to company standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

Role Requirements

  • Must be available for flexible scheduling, including early morning, late night, weekend, and on-call shifts during snow events.
  • Must have reliable transportation to job sites located within the GTA.
  • Must have appropriate winter attire (waterproof footwear, personal protective equipment etc.).
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in cold weather for long periods of time.
  • Experience with snow removal equipment is considered an asset.
  • Preference given to those located in Peel Region (Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon).

License/Certification

  • Valid G class driver's license
