Physiotherapist | Acute

We are hiring for a permanent part-time (0.60fte) Physiotherapist for the Kelowna General Hospital. This position primarily supports Alternate Level of Care (ALC) with a focus on clinical caseload for ALC patients, consultations, and complex discharge planning.

Days of Work: Monday to Thursday

Hours of work: 09:00-15:06, 08:30-14:36, 08:00-14:06

About The Position
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
