Nippon Trends Food Service Canada Inc. is seeking motivated Production Workers for our morning and afternoon shifts at our noodle manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record raw materials (e.g., material usage, batch details, production logs).
- Use a checklist to ensure precise weighing and documentation.
- Safely lift and handle 30kg (66 lbs) bags.
- Operate and troubleshoot machinery efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and during shift handovers (morning and afternoon).
This role is the first step in the noodle-making process. Any mistakes can impact the entire production, so precision and responsibility are essential.
Key Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (30kg / 66 lbs) safely and repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously while following established procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to contribute to both production and cleaning responsibilities.
Shift Details
We are hiring for both Morning and Afternoon shifts:
- Morning Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday (8-hour shift)
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday (8-hour shift)

Compensation
- Morning Shift:
- Starting wage: $20.40/hour
- Performance-based increases up to $21.40/hour
- Afternoon Shift:
- Starting wage: $20.50/hour
- Performance-based increases up to $21.50/hour
- Additional pay:
- Overtime pay in accordance with employment standards

Requirements

- Previous experience as a production worker (1 year) is an asset but not required.
