PrecisionIT is seeking Sr Techno-Functional Business Analyst who has experience with Commercial Finance
to work initial
9-month contract
with one of our clients in Waterloo, ON.

The resource is expected to work hybrid style (3x per week onsite).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with significant experience in commercial finance, equipment leasing, floor planning, dealer financing, or related financial services.
  • Strong functional knowledge of end-to-end lending and leasing processes: origination, credit assessment, funding, contract lifecycle, servicing, collections, and end-of-term workflows.
  • Experience with commercial lending or leasing systems (e.g., loan origination, lease management, credit decision engines, dealer portals).
  • Proven ability to simplify and streamline complex financial or operational processes.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for client-facing workshops, interviews, and design sessions.
  • Excellent written communication skills for documenting requirements, functional specs, process flows, and interface definitions.
  • Experience reviewing and mapping business processes in commercial lending or leasing.
  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, asset tracking, reconciliation, and reporting in commercial finance.
  • ASSET: Experience with DataScan/Solifi or similar commercial finance specialist provider
