We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our chiropractic clinic as an Independent Contractor. With over 20 years in business, our clinic is one of the most prominent in HRM. We are known as a very busy but reputable, friendly, and compassionate clinic that gets people well. Our patients range from newborns to seniors. We see patients suffering from both acute and chronic injuries as well as people just looking to improve their quality of life and overall health.
Our style of chiropractic is very hands-on. Our chiropractors focus on what they do best which is adjusting spinal joints and extremities with soft tissue work when needed.
We are currently looking to a qualified, physiotherapist that could serve our large patient base. Our chiropractors are extremely busy and are looking for the ability to delegate to a physiotherapist when appropriate.
Duties
- Assess patients and develop tailored treatment plans to promote recovery and improve mobility
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to aid patient rehabilitation and recovery
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when needed in order to properly co-manage patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in accordance with local regulations
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
