SESH by Sessions Cannabis is seeking passionate individuals with cannabis knowledge for the role of Budtender. As a brand ambassador, you'll provide excellent customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and contribute to a positive community environment.

This is a current, active vacancy.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly, welcoming manner throughout the day.
  • Confidently represent the SESH brand and values.
  • Educate customers on cannabis products and safe consumption.
  • Facilitate cannabis sales by discussing products and accessories with customers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
  • Use a cannabis-compliant POS system and cash register efficiently.
  • Organize, receive, and categorize cannabis products and accessories.
  • Maintain daily cleanliness of the store.
  • Check IDs for customers appearing 30 years old or younger.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to provincial and federal cannabis regulations.
  • Participate in company and LP training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CannSell certification. (Required to start)
  • Clean criminal background check.(Required to start)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability for shifts between 8:30 am to 11:30 pm, Monday to Sunday.
  • Basic math skills and cashier proficiency.
  • Cannabis knowledge and community connection are assets.
  • Must be 19+ due to provincial cannabis regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.
  • Perform tasks related to stocking and store maintenance.
