Overview

Compensation: Equity-based to start. Salary possible after funding or revenue milestones.

I'm building an early-stage software platform focused on improving how people move through complex, multi-step processes that involve financial decisions, verification, and long timelines. The current systems in this space are fragmented, manual, and difficult for users to navigate, which creates friction, delays, and poor outcomes.

The project is still in its early build phase and is intentionally being kept low-profile. The goal right now is not exposure or scale—it's clarity, execution, and getting a working system into the hands of real users so it can be improved through iteration.

I'm looking for someone who wants to be close to the work: building core features, shaping early technical decisions, and helping turn rough ideas and flows into something functional. This role is hands-on and collaborative. You'll be working directly with me, with short feedback loops and clear priorities.

A big part of the work involves designing systems that improve over time—using structured data, simple automation, and model-assisted logic where it makes sense. Nothing here is about "black box" decision-making or chasing trends. The focus is on building something practical, understandable, and reliable.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys early-stage problem solving, is comfortable with ambiguity, and prefers making steady progress over polishing slide decks. If you like owning real work, shipping frequently, and learning as you go, this will feel like the right environment.

What You'll Be Working On (Early Phase)

  • Turning existing product ideas and flows into a working MVP
  • Building core application features (accounts, gated actions, internal tools)
  • Implementing rule-based logic and model-assisted systems
  • Structuring data so it can improve over time through feedback and iteration
  • Shipping usable features weekly and refining based on real usage

What I'm Looking For

  • Experience building and shipping real software (full-stack or strong one side)
  • Hands-on experience working with trained models or data-driven systems(this could include classification, scoring, extraction, or similar)
  • Comfort working with imperfect inputs and improving outputs over time
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
  • Strong bias toward execution over theory

You don't need to be senior or have perfect credentials. You do need to show up, think clearly, and build.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketplaces or financial workflows
  • Exposure to document processing or verification systems
  • Prior work where models were improved through real-world usage

We'll begin with a short trial period (3–4 weeks):

  • Clear weekly goals
  • Working output each week
  • Simple structure and regular check-ins

If it's a good fit on both sides, we'll formalize equity and longer-term scope.
