We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. Duties

  • Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or products.
  • Assist in maintaining the salon's appearance and organization to ensure a professional setting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a barber or stylist with strong hair styling skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices within a salon environment.
  • Ability to upsell retail products confidently and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members.
  • Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $17.20-$35.00 per hour
