About the Position:

We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our Ottawa team This role is a part-time contract position with no predetermined end date.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Physician with patient treatments, patient flow, follow-up calls, re-bookings, biopsy set-ups and wound care, as well as sterilization of instruments.
  • Stocking rooms and keeping track of inventory.
  • Administrative support.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

The successful applicant should have the following qualifications:

  • Two to three years' experience working in a clinic or hospital setting as an Administrative Assistant, Medical Coordinator, or Executive Assistant.

  • Sales ability combined with the capacity to build relationships over the phone and in-person.

  • Must have a "can-do" attitude, strong attention to detail, and be a critical thinker.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and judgment.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer support and follow-up to patients.

  • Ability to accurately follow directions with limited supervision.

  • Strong computer literacy and administration skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
  • A background in aesthetics and wellness is considered a strong asset.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting physicians with in-room procedures. Candidates should feel comfortable at the sight of blood and injections.
