About the Position:
We are looking for a Physician Assistant to join our Ottawa team This role is a part-time contract position with no predetermined end date.
The responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Physician with patient treatments, patient flow, follow-up calls, re-bookings, biopsy set-ups and wound care, as well as sterilization of instruments.
- Stocking rooms and keeping track of inventory.
Administrative support.
Perform other related duties as required.
The successful applicant should have the following qualifications:
Two to three years' experience working in a clinic or hospital setting as an Administrative Assistant, Medical Coordinator, or Executive Assistant.
Sales ability combined with the capacity to build relationships over the phone and in-person.
- Must have a "can-do" attitude, strong attention to detail, and be a critical thinker.
- Superior communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and judgment.
Ability to provide excellent customer support and follow-up to patients.
Ability to accurately follow directions with limited supervision.
- Strong computer literacy and administration skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- A background in aesthetics and wellness is considered a strong asset.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting physicians with in-room procedures. Candidates should feel comfortable at the sight of blood and injections.
