The position offers a hybrid work approach, combining onsite shoots in Toronto with remote editing and planning. There is potential for future projects based on performance and collaboration.

Deliverables

  • Conceptualize and storyboard the music video in collaboration with the artist
  • Plan and coordinate the video shoot, including location scouting and scheduling
  • Direct and film the music video on location in Toronto
  • Edit and post-produce the video, ensuring high-quality visuals and audio synchronization
  • Provide creative input on visual style, pacing, and storytelling
  • Assist with basic promotional strategies for the video's release
  • Deliver the final video in required formats and resolutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in music video production and editing
  • Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong creative vision and ability to translate musical themes into compelling visuals
  • Experience with camera operation, lighting, and on-set direction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work both onsite in Toronto and remotely as needed
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to estimate project timelines
  • Knowledge of basic video marketing and promotion is a plus
